This notice explains what Northstar Wealth Map collects, why we collect it, how it may be used, and the choices available to you.

1. Scope

This notice applies to northstarwealthmap.com, its calculators, questionnaires, reports, email communications, and administrator tools. It does not apply to third-party websites linked from the service.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email, optional phone number, age, household and location details, income, expenses, savings, debts, retirement assets, goals, benefit estimates, insurance and estate-planning status, and questionnaire responses.

We may also receive ordinary technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate location derived from an internet address, referral page, and interactions needed for security, diagnostics, and service improvement.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, tax-identification numbers, passwords, full bank or investment account numbers, payment-card details, medical records, or copies of identity documents.

3. How we use information

  • Generate and email requested educational calculations and roadmaps.
  • Save submissions so authorized administrators can view and resend reports.
  • Respond to questions and planning requests.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
  • Comply with law and protect users, the service, and others.

We do not use submitted financial details to execute transactions, open accounts, make lending decisions, or provide individualized regulated advice.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We may share information with vendors that host the site, store submissions, provide authentication, or deliver email, only as needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to address fraud or security, in a business transfer, or with your direction. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Cookies and similar technology

The service may use essential storage or cookies for authentication, security, session continuity, and preferences. We do not currently operate an advertising-cookie program. If analytics or advertising practices materially change, this notice and any required consent controls should be updated before deployment.

6. Retention and security

Information is retained only as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and service security. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Use the minimum information necessary and avoid sensitive identifiers.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

You may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of information associated with your submission, or opt out of nonessential communications. Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply, including the right to appeal a denied request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

8. Children

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. International use

If you access the service outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate. Local data-protection rules may differ from those in your country.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this notice and will post the revised effective date here. For privacy requests or questions, email glenis.graham@gmail.com. This contact should be replaced with a dedicated privacy address as the service grows.
